The Millennium Proto-Park Launch is almost here! If you're a Subang youth looking for a way to contribute your time and passion for your own community, we're looking for you! Millennium Park is on its way to becoming an active and lively space for Subang, but we need some helping hands to make the vision a reality.

AS A BUILDER

After collecting ideas from the Kotak Komuniti that we built last month, we are ready to launch the proto-park that will help determine the future of your neighborhood park. You'll be building a variety of diffferent things; from playscape modules to wooden pallet walls for murals, all proto-type structures and activities that will bring community together to fix and build in the park, as well as join in different activities around the park.

You'll be working hard in the hot sun all day for both days, so make sure you're energized and ready to go!

AS A LAUNCH DAY VOLUNTEER

Launch day will be filled with art, exercise, building and playing, and we need volunteers to facilitate activities. You'll be preparing the activities, setting up and manning a station to make sure everyone is safe and having fun! As a volunteer, you'll have the chance to mix around and get to know your community, your neighbors, and help them test out what they would like to see in their park and help us collect feedback.

PARTICIPANTS' CRITERIA

A Subang Youth! (above 16 yrs old, stays / studies / works here)

Enjoys the craft of making things, no matter how big or small

Has a passion for community projects and people

Loves making new friends!

WHAT TO EXPECT

A briefing before each day's build or event

Lots and lots of sweating and sun

Making new friends in your own community

Free food!

You'll be a part of an amazing experimental park experience; where the voices of the community are the most important aspect. Through a weekend of fixing, building and joining some fun activities, we'll be helping them explore what they would like to see in their own neighborhood!
