3. Foreigners must provide Date of Birth (to purchase insurance coverage)


First-time builders are compulsory to join THE BASIC BUILDER WORKSHOP. A mandatory 1-day interactive workshop where you'll learn basic building skills and the safety training needed to build a home

Location: Parc Hub, Lot 17394 Jalan SS12/1, Taman Subang Ria, Subang 47500, Selangor

EPIC Homes is EPIC's flagship initiative that aims to build trust and relationships with marginalized communities in order to create cooperative, resilient and sustainable communities through the simple act of building home - addressing the issue of access to safe housing among marginalized communities.

EPIC strives to equip individuals to be able to engage with communities, build trust and relationships via participatory processes in research, planning & implementation with the facilitation of socio-technical & domain experts. Through this, shared experiences are cultivated, which heightens the community, external supporters & overall awareness of our inter-relationships and interactions within the space we occupy.


  We have Built 300+ Homes.

 We have a builder community of over 5,000 volunteers.

  We have worked with over 10 villages across Peninsular Malaysia.

  An EPIC Home only takes 3 - 5 days to build!

    As a first-time builder, I stepped onto the site with a mix of excitement and apprehension. However, any nervousness I had quickly vanished thanks to the incredible team from Epic and Zurich. I was guided with exceptional patience and expertise every step of the way.

    A special and heartfelt thank you to my Master Builder, Shida, whose mentorship was invaluable; to our specialist, Raymond, who shared his knowledge so generously; and to our coordinator, Grace, whose infectious energy and fun-loving spirit made every day a joy. They weren't just a team; they were supportive mentors who fostered a warm and welcoming environment.

    This was more than just building a house; it was about building community, confidence, and cherished memories. The collaboration between the Epic and Zurich teams was seamless and inspiring. I leave with a profound sense of accomplishment and absolutely no regrets. It was an amazing experience that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone
