We imagine a world where we build our skills, character and abilities not just for ourselves, but for the benefit of others.

Epic Homes mobilises volunteers to build homes with marginalised communities - investing in themselves for others.

If you've been on an Epic Home build and are looking to upskill and continue on your Epic journey, join the Advanced Builder Course to find out what it takes to become either a Specialist. Each member of the Core Team plays a key role in the Epic Homes journey, this training course is designed to equip you with the mindset, skills and attitude required to be a Specialist.

In this course you'll spend 4 days, two weekends, looking at different areas of your personal, people and technical leadership abilities. How these areas relate to becoming the best version of yourself, so that whether you are building a home, or connecting with volunteers, each experience has the potential to unlock a personal transformation.

Dates:

Weekend 1: May 18th - 19th: Understand the role of the Specialist, level up your leadership skills, and learn what it takes to be a leader in EPIC. Start Building the scaled-down EPIC home.

Weekend 2: May 25th - 26th: Finish building the scaled-down EPIC Home, and do an in-depth review of the building process.

Parc Hub, Taman Subang Ria, 47500 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Criteria:

Participating in the Advanced Builder Course requires you to enjoy the company of people, and see the best in others so you can BRING out their best.

• Above the age of 18.
• Has joined a Basic Builder Workshop Before
• Good planning skills & ability.
• Good communication skills - please note lessons will be in English. If you need a translator, please let us know.
• A teachable heart.

PRICE: RM200 +1 Specialist Build Payment (worth RM450)

For Existing Core Team members (Refreshers): RM50 (meal, training and basic costs)
