Mission Description

Assisting Hulu Tamu villagers to build the fencing at the main tanks

What's Happening?
Hulu Tamu Villagers are building their own gravity feed water system by piping water from Lata Huup in Sg Pagah, 5km away and 130m higher than the village.

Planning begun with EPIC Communities's facilitation and Engineers Without Borders Malaysia's consultation in January 2018, and four 500GL water tanks have already been prepared with a shelter in the village since August 2018. They have been taking 1 month since then to trace and clear up the heavily forested pipe route from these tanks to the water source. With most of the pipes laid out, we are currently 70% complete with Phase 1.

The villagers are requesting assistance in helping to complete the rest of the system, including laying out the pipes along the route and putting up the fencing at the main tanks. In this mission, you will be assisting to put up the fencing at the main tanks.
