Bamboo Basic Builder

What is the Bamboo Basic Builder Workshop?
The Bamboo Basic Builder Workshop is a mandatory pre-build training for all First-Time Builders joining a bamboo build. This hands-on session equips you with the essential bamboo construction techniques and safety knowledge required before stepping onto site.
You are required to attend one full session before participating in the build.

Workshop Dates (Choose One via the ticket):
• 5 April 2026 (2:00PM – 5:00PM)
• 7 April 2026 (7:30PM – 10:30PM) (Alternative session if you are unable to attend the 5th)

All First-Time Builders are required to complete this workshop in full prior to the build.
Those who do not attend will not be allowed to participate in the bamboo build.

What You’ll Learn
• Core bamboo building techniques
• Tool handling and on-site workflow
• Safety practices specific to bamboo construction

Mission Impact

We want to equip communities with applicable and relevant skills for life. In the Basic Building Workshop we want to teach building skills for the everyday person to use and understand so that they can pursue projects that not only impact their personal lives, such as doing repair or DIY work at home but also for the community, such as rebuilding and repairing toilets, playgrounds in their local neighbourhoods.
