What is a Basic Builder Workshop?
After purchasing an EPIC Homes build ticket, First-Time Builders will receive an email/WhatsApp text (after 3 working days) with an access code to register for a Basic Builder Workshop.
The Basic Builder Workshop is part of the 3D/2N EPIC Homes build experience ticket. It is a mandatory 1-day interactive workshop for First-Time Builders where you'll learn the basic building skills and safety training needed to build a home.
By completing this workshop, as an impact outlet you qualify to serve with EPIC Homes in their mission to provide safe homes for marginalised communities.
How to Register for the Basic Builder Workshop
1. Click Register Now on this page and click the Locked Icon
2. Enter your Access Code, and click Check Out.
3. Fill in your participant details and click Register Now.
Important Notes:
1. One Basic Builder Workshop per ticket purchased.
2. It is compulsory to attend the full workshop from 10am - 5pm. Partial attendance is not allowed. Only choose a Basic Builder Workshop date where you are able to attend the full workshop.
3. First-Time Builders who fail to attend a Basic Builder Workshop will not be allowed to join the 3D/2N EPIC Homes build.
4. You may reschedule your Basic Builder Workshop with a minimum of four (4) days notice before the date of your original Basic Builder Workshop. For example, if your original Basic Builder Workshop is on Saturday 10 May, you must inform us of your wish to reschedule by Tuesday 6 May. Rescheduling less than 4 days before is not permitted.
5. If no alternative Basic Builder Workshops are available before your registered EPIC Homes Build, you have a grace period of 3 months from your original build date to register for another build date. If you do not register for another build date within this period, your ticket will expire and no refunds will be issued.

In the Basic Building Workshop we want to teach building skills for the everyday person to use and understand so that they can pursue projects that not only impact their personal lives, such as doing repair or DIY work at home but also for the community, such as rebuilding and repairing toilets, playgrounds in their local neighbourhoods.
