The Good Builder Workshop is a 2-day engaging and interactive workshop where participants are guided in understanding themselves and their team and learning practical skills that exemplify their values in action. The Good Builder engages creative thinking, cooperation and teamwork - effectively using their hands, heart and head in the process!

Learn

We start with the fundamentals of building by learning how to use different tools, techniques and safe handling. These are broken down into 5 stations that you must complete.
You will also be assessed at each station on your proficiency with each tool or technique.

Apply

After learning how to use each tool, we apply our new skills to a project for the communities in need. Working together in a group, you will be given plans to build a special piece of furniture.

In this workshop we are supporting TFM and a local school who were affected by floods last year. They have requested bookshelves and tables and chairs to replace their damaged ones. We will be building bookshelves to donate.
