The Good Builder Workshop is an engaging and interactive workshop where participants are guided in understanding themselves and their team and learning practical skills that exemplify their values in action. The Good Builder engages creative thinking, cooperation and teamwork - effectively using their hands, heart and head in the process!
This programme focuses on:
Learning new practical DIY skills, using your hands, engaging yourself creatively and building something from scratch.
Providing furniture for a community in need and directly impacting their lives.
Engaging your team to build relationships through a unique and fun experience
Putting to practice what you learn directly into action.
We want to equip communities with applicable and relevant skills for life. In the Basic Building Workshop we want to teach building skills for the everyday person to use and understand so that they can pursue projects that not only impact their personal lives, such as doing repair or DIY work at home but also for the community, such as rebuilding and repairing toilets, playgrounds in their local neighbourhoods.
