In this proposal, we have decided to visit the refugee’s centre which is located at Sunway Mentari to teach them the basic languages subjects which we are mainly focus on English and Mathematics. Moreover, we will teach additional skill arts and crafts such as keychain. The purpose of teaching them arts and crafts is to up their skills, so they could sell it to make money for a business. Furthermore, we will also be doing warming exercise which benefits their body and mind and be more healthy.
Our team thinks that giving education is significant to everyone in the world, including refugees. Education gives us knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better. Not only that, it also transforms us to a more smarter and knowledgeable person. Therefore, throughout our project, we want to give the same opportunities to the refugees which not only giving them the education skills, but also some external skills such as doing keychains to build up their creativity skills.
Besides, the other reason why we are doing this meaningful project, it is because most child refugees are not legally allowed to work, everyone in the family works low-paid jobs. This has caused the students to stop going to school and we wanted to help them out through the basic learning of education.
Finally, we are all humans and deserve to be treated with the same rights such as the education too. We should not be separated by the status or race or nationality. Refugees child deserve the education to help contribute to the economy in our country. Last but not least, quality education is the most important for the growth of the nation.
