What is this project?
The Kerinchi Literacy Hub programme is a social initiative in collaboration with the Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament's office and KL Gateway Mall. Volunteers will read with children to help build confidence in their reading skills and instil a love of learning in them!
Who are the children involved?
The children come from the community around the Kerinchi PPR flats, many from less privileged backgrounds.
What do I need to do?
Join us on Saturdays on either slot 1: 9.30 AM - 11 AM or slot 2: 11 AM - 12.30 PM. We will be at KL Gateway Mall, in front of Times Bookstore on level 2. It is accessible via Universiti LRT.
You'll be reading with the children using structured and comprehensive reading materials that have helped hundreds of children learn to read. We recommend that you attend our full training to effectively help a child learn to read.

March - 7th, 28th
April - 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
May - 2nd, 9th
One day every child will be able to read.
