What is this project?
The MYReaders Advanced Reading Programme is a social initiative in collaboration with the Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament's office and KL Gateway Mall. Volunteers will read with secondary school students to help build confidence in their reading skills and instil a love of learning in them!
Who are the students involved?
The students come from the community around the Kerinchi PPR flats, many from less privileged backgrounds.
What do I need to do?
Join us on Monday from 8.00 pm to 9.30 pm. We will be at KL Gateway mall, in front of Times Bookstore on level 2. It is accessible via Universiti LRT.
You'll be reading with students age between 13 and 17, helping them with the assigned article and the guiding questions designed to improve their critical thinking.
