Mission Description

Inclusion of people with disabilities in recreation, fitness & cycling programs

  The mission of this project is to build a tandem bicycle library to enable special needs children to learn how to cycle with the support of ride leaders.


  In the coming May till September there will be Exchange Participants (international students) from different parts of the world coming to do volunteering work under Challenges C4C project at 5 AIESEC local chapters around Malaysia.

The Challenges Cycle 4 Change (C4C) project with AIESEC Malaysia  is a  nation-wide Project running across different states/ territories  starting with WP Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Perak and Pahang. 

 In 2018, the collaboration will start with  college students from 5 universities under AIESEC local chapters:
AIESEC in UM, AIESEC in Sunway, AIESEC in Taylors, AIESEC in UTAR and AIESEC in UMP.

We need more youths who are passionate about bringing impact to the society with disabilities by building an inclusive community in Malaysia to join our movement. As our Volunteers, you will also be meet with volunteers from various countries ,who are coming in through AIESEC in Malaysia where one can experience international cross-cultural sharing of knowledge and culture.

  Activities where C4C volunteers will participate in include the following:

1.Running Recycle Bicycle Campaign-

To reduce bicycle waste in the environment, reuse preloved bicycles and recycle bicycle parts into tandem C4C bicycles.

2 Tandem bicycle building and maintenance workshops -

Th assist in maintaining bicycles used for activities with special needs children and to build more bicycles for our Tandem C4C Library

2.Activities with special needs children -

To support children with various disabilities to get fit, improve gross motor skills, cognitive function and general well-being.

3.Awareness raising & Promotion -

To promote C4C awareness through social media, newsletters and media channels via an  on-going PR and communication campaign

4. Fundraising/ donation drive -

To raise funds to enable us continue our C4C community programmes

5.Wheel Mapping of open spaces -

To promote and develop accessible open spaces for inclusive community development

- Start a Tandem C4C Library in Petaling Jaya

To achieve the following outputs:

  • 100 children undergone fitness assessment
  • 50 (children) participants in tandem cycling activities
  • 50 bicycles collected in Recycle Bicycle Campaign
