Mission Description

Volunteer Beach Clean-Up at Teluk Kemang (Port Dickson), Sunway Student Only

Malaysia has been ranked 8th in the World on the worst plastic polluted countries in the world. Our team needs students help in cleaning up our beach and recover the natural beauty of them.

We are not an organizer of the whole program but only act as an agent to search for volunteer within the Sunway Campus in Kuala Lumpur.

After registered as volunteer, You will be invited to a Whatsapp group with all information on mobile app to use, contact details and thing to prepare during and before the event.

Sunway student who volunteer in this event are expected to gather at Sunway University Foyer 2 hours before going to the TeLuk Kemang, Port Dickson which the event started at 7.45 am.

Important Note:

For any further interest and enquiries, students can visit the out booth at Sunway University Foyer which was held at 17 November. The booth will show how Malaysia being polluted by wrong treatment of plastic disposal and how what can we do to prevent it.

Mission Impact

It was intended to raise awareness on the impact of how the action wrongly treatment towards plastic disposal will impact our environment, especially marine. During the clean-up, we will collect data on trash collected and able to view the report on what types of trash has mainly polluted our beach.
