About
The Global Community Service (GLOCOSE) 25/26 is a volunteering project organised by the Welfare Development Committee and Community of the Tun Syed Zahiruddin Residential College, Universiti Malaya.
Pioneering in 2014, it is an annual project that has achieved international standards. We started with Jogjakarta in 2014 and Banda Aceh in 2015. In 2016, we continued our journey to Cambodia, followed by a trip to Vietnam in 2017. Then, in 2018, we were brought to Phuket, Thailand. In 2021, we were preparing to volunteer at Tiruchirapalli, India, before halting all activities due to the pandemic. Last year, we became the first project to fly overseas after the COVID-19 pandemic, and we succeeded in the project in Malang, Indonesia. We marked the 6th edition of our project.
This year, of 7th edition, we will resume our annual project to Digos, Philippines, and proceed towards giving back to the community.
