The Covid-19 pandemic has had a drastic impact on our country and, most specifically, the citizens. Many people have lost their jobs and are in need. We understand these are uncertain times with the situation our country is in right now. We are here to say that we hear you and are here to help.
I am currently a Year 2 university student, and I recently started a small non profit initiative on the 4th of July in light of the ongoing pandemic to send out essential food boxes to families in need. I also provided milk, diapers, and sanitary pads upon request!
My 1st batch(5th-14th July) consisted of 31 boxes. The 2nd batch (15th-24th July) consists of 50 boxes, and I have already sent out 47 as of today. In total, I have sent out boxes to 78 families in 2 and a half weeks!
