What has been accomplished

Volunteers read with 16 children from the community around the Kerinchi PPR flats, many who are from less privileged backgrounds. The children had had fun and were excited to share what they have learnt at the end of the session.

This is a step towards the vision of MYReaders. "One day every child will be able to read."

Mission Reviews
1 review

  • Not without its challenges. It was my first time teaching kids, but the organisers/committee members really did their best in helping me get used to the experience. If you're looking for something that will actually make an impact, this is the mission for you. Did not regret signing up, and hoping to make this a permanent way to spend my Saturdays. Would like for there to be more opportunities for fellow volunteers.

Final Words

Thank you to all our passionate volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to read with these children. We hope to see you next round!
