A Brief Introduction

GMI CSR Project @ SK Sri Delima is an English literacy intervention programme that we are supporting together with dedicated volunteers from the German-Malaysian Institute and English teacher of SK Sri Delima. The aim is to accelerate the reading growth of students coming from disadvantaged communities from PPR Pekan Batu that is opposite the school.

What has been accomplished

Volunteers read with 10 children from the community around the PPR Pekan Batu, many who are from less privileged backgrounds. The children had fun and were excited to share what they have learnt at the end of the session. 

This is a step towards the vision of MYReaders. "One day every child will be able to read."
