What has been accomplished

Volunteers read with 15 children from the community around the Kerinchi PPR flats, many who are from less privileged backgrounds. The children had had fun and were excited to share what they have learnt at the end of the session.

This is a step towards the vision of MYReaders. "One day every child will be able to read."

  • As this is my first time doing a volunteer activities, I'm quite nervous but MYReaders team is really helpful and they guide a first timer volunteer very well. It was fun and seeing how eager the kids want to learn to read, it makes me happy. It definitely worth to spend your weekend with them. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I will definitely join this activity again.

Final Words

Thank you to all our passionate volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to read with these children. We hope to see you next round!
