What has been accomplished

Volunteers read with 18 children from the community around the Kerinchi PPR flats, many who are from less privileged backgrounds. The children had had fun and were excited to share what they have learnt at the end of the session.

This is a step towards the vision of MYReaders. "One day every child will be able to read."

Teaching these eager kids to read is rewarding. Apart from just reading, making a connection with the kids and showing them that we care, are some of the intangible impressions that we leave behind.

Final Words

Thank you to all our passionate volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to read with these children. We hope to see you next round!
