  3. Showed love and care to these child refugees as these kids are often ignored, even shunned by the locals.
  4. Reducing the bystander effect with awareness and taking the first action. When we start taking action by creating this project, others may be influenced and join in to help these child refugees as well.
  5. Raise awareness to the people around us that education is very important and not take for granted as the child refugees are not easy to obtain it.

Final Words

The DIFFERENT COUNTRY SAME LAND project went on smoothly till the end with the assistance of the director of Manna House Learning Centre, Ms. Angeline. It was truly a great experience for all the participants as it helped us to know better about the situation of the child refugees who are living in Malaysia. The issue about the lack of education rights of the child refugees in Malaysia are not known by many of the locals living in Malaysia, basic entitlements that we have, such as education and residency can be a great blessing for other people due to their personal situations. We hope this project will be able to create an impact on other people - by being more aware about the situation of these child refugees and also influence other people to help these children in need.
